One of the challenges that many humanitarian organisations have to address is how best to adopt forward thinking practices that are not part of their standard operating procedures and repertoires. To this end, the Humanitarian Futures Team developed a series of tools that can strengthen organisational interest in the use of innovation and the best ways to identify it for humanitarian objectives. These tools were tried and tested over a decade under the auspices of the Humanitarian Futures Programme (HFP) based at King’s College London.
You can visit the HF Toolkit page and download the Futures Roundtable exercise to explore how your organisation may benefit.
For those who may be interested to learn more about how these tools can be used, they can contact us for any questions or to discuss how to customize the tools to their organisational context and humanitarian work.
Further, we would welcome any feedback from those who have used or adapted the tools for their own use.
