The Humanitarian Futures Programme organised a series of pilot exchanges between climate scientists and humanitarian policy makers undertaken from March to June 2009. Drawing on new learning from these exchanges, this briefing note is intended for humanitarian policy makers, scientists engaged in disciplines which impact on future vulnerability and those seeking to strengthen science–policy dialogue.
