Planning is underway for a proposed series of activities in 2011-12 in Senegal and Kenya to assess how climate science can effectively inform a range of humanitarian planning processes. The approach brings together climate scientists and humanitarian policymakers from the UK, Senegal and Kenya working at community, national, regional and international levels to consider how climate information can better support specific decision making contexts.

HFP will be supporting and participating in an Early Warning Early Action workshop.
